The wife and I decided to go as Deadpool & Wolverine. We started simply with the cheapest AliExpress Wolverine costume we could find. Once it arrived, we realized these were in fact skin tight, which is fine if you are in peek physical condition, but as a couple of 40 year olds, that's not really happening. So I started building out some accessories for the costume.

I found this great template and tutorial from SKS Props on YouTube. I got myself a bunch of EVA foam and got to work. You can find all the SKS Props templates online which include many other cosplay designs.

There are lots of different ways to go for Wolverine claws. Cardboard, wood, or foam are very popular. I had 2 concerns:

I ended up combining multiple designs online into my wolverine claw template (below). The procedure to create them is:

I thought this was optional as the suit already has one designed onto it, but I thought it would give it more detail & depth, and I couldn't be happier. I used another SKS Props template for Wolverine armor & picked the belt pieces out. I took some liberty with the buckle design but essentially its this pattern.
